Casuarina Shores is situated in the middle of Bangtao Beach, a magnificent, 8 kilometer-long crescent shaped bay with pure white sand, fringed with Casuarina trees. Bang Tao is one of Phuket's longest, least developed and most beautiful beaches.

Casuarina Shores is a managed residential estate of luxury apartments on five level levels serviced by an elevator. The estate boasts a large communal swimming pool with relaxation salas; a 30m lap pool; gymnasium and sauna facilities in gardens set against a backdrop of tropical mountains. Each apartment has two en-suite bedrooms, European kitchen facilities and large dining / living areas as well as garden terraces or balconies. Penthouse apartments have rooftop gardens with covered timber decks and private splash pools providing beautiful views of the surrounding forested hills.

Casuarina Shores or Bangtao Beach Gardens?

Casuarina Shores is located close (barely 1km) from the Laguna Resort Hotel Complex which offers a range of dining venues and other activities. Bangtao Beach Gardens is situated closer to Surin Beach and its nightlife. Casuarina Shores was built more recently and this is reflected in the larger apartment sizes and balcony areas. Casuarina Shores is situated closer to the local shopping center (Tesco, Boots, Pizza Hut and MacDonalds) than Bangtao Beach Gardens perhaps 25 minutes walk away (5 minutes by taxi). Bangtao Beach Gardens lies within easy walking distance of two beaches Surin and Bangtao. Whilst both resorts have fully equipped gyms and family pools it should be pointed out that Bangtao Beach Gardens has a 30m lap pool (against Casuarina's 20m). Bangtao Beach Gardens also has an outdoor poolside BBQ area for parties. Families on higher floors with young children or elderly relatives may wish to consider that all floors at Casuarina Shores are serviced by an elevator. For those considering penthouses with rooftops at Bangtao Beach Gardens we should point out that the rooftops at Casuarina are a little better appointed with plunge pools and covered decks.

Casuarina Shores - Choosing an Apartment

Step One: review the apartments we have available. Families might consider the garden level which provides the kids with easy access to the pool. Singles and couples might prefer the added privacy of Floors 2-4 which offer views over the gardens and pool. Honeymooners or party people might prefer the privacy of the rooftops with their private splash pools and rooftop salas. The rooftops are wonderful on balmy nights where you will find only a blanket of stars for company.
